S. Thomas Copeland, O.D., was born and raised in the Yakima Valley. After graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2002, he was excited to return home to provide his community with state-of-the-art vision and eye care. Dr. Copeland practices out of two locations in the Yakima Valley. Family Vision Care is a primary eye care practice located inside the Union Gap Costco and specializes in the treatment of vision and eye-health problems for all ages. Washington Vision Therapy Center is a referral-based office limited to the treatment of binocular dysfunction, learning-related vision problems, and vision rehabilitation. He has completed over 200 hours of post-graduate education in the area of vision development and rehabilitation.
When not in the office, Dr. Copeland enjoys spending time with his family in church and participating in outdoor activities. He has also been a School Board Member at St. John Orthodox Christian School since 2004.
